Check out these pictures of the first event in the Revolt Summer Surf Series down at the Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach.  The event was a blast!  It was a little overcast all morning but the waves were wedging and the afternoon saw its fair share of California sun. Last years champ Gavin Sutherland surfed his way to the final in the airshow but came up just short of the mens final on his 5`0 Cole Aviso.  In the end it was Eric Mchenry taking the first event and looks to be in the driver seat for the cash and the board.  One of the highlights of the day came in the airshow final when the winner of that division, Josh Montgomery boosted a sick air over jay christenson, who proceded to get sucked back over the falls underneath him! Jay was also the winner of the 13 and under division, so he was making a huge statement even surfing in the airshow with guys twice his age.  Anyway be sure to come down to event number two on July 19th.  There will be plenty of boards to try out and plenty of boardshorts and bikinis packing the sand so be sure to come down and check things out!!!
