We continue to see swell here in California and the rain we had earlier this week gave way to amazing conditions the last few days. Two days ago was perhaps the most beautiful sunset we have witnessed in a long time. I am so excited as I type this because there is another swell filling in tonight and the future continues to look very promising! So the past week has been pretty slow as far as swell goes but it has given us a chance to get caught up on some work. The Aviso factory delivered the first small batch of Gold Label boards a few days ago and they look absolutely amazing. They are going to be available direct from the factory here in the States starting next week. Right now Japanese customers can prebook through NakiSurf so please take advantage of this opportunity. There is a reason why surfers love California in the winter. The crowds thin a little, the Aleutian Juice starts flowing and the Santa Ana winds often blow. The last few weeks have been a shining example of why we live here in Cali. The whole coast and down into Mexico was overflowing with swell and I just finally had a chance to wash the salt out of my hair, download all of my pictures, and get organized. We are closing in on the end of the year and I can hardly believe it. Looks like 2012 is just around the corner. I think there is some hype out there over a calander or some shit but I am pretty sure we have a little time left on the clock. Here are a few more shots from around town over the last few days. It has been so much fun lately here on the west coast, and it has been great having Naki and his friends in town as well. After surfing the beaches all week we made it down to Lowers this morning and got some really fun waist to chest high surf with a very light crowd before the wind came up. Cant wait to see what tomorrow brings…

Fun waves this morning before the wind came up mid day.  The whole crew made it out this morning, including my good friends Cole, Robo and Naki! The waves dropped off from yesterday but it was still really fun. Tomorrow we could see strong offshore winds and if there is any swell things could be interesting. Beyond that we should see something this weekend and around the 10th so the future looks promising…

The last few days have have been priceless here in San Clemente. The weather and the waves have come together for some truly memorable sessions. Last night I had a dream about surfing and getting barreled and today felt like an extension of that dream. The kind of waves you surf until you literally cant paddle one more stroke. It was such a cool feeling, I wish I could live in that moment forever. I rode my 5`7 Aviso Grasshopper by Cole and it worked amazing…

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Today was an amazing day and it was so great to spend the it visiting with my family and friends. Throw in a solid NW swell filling in through the morning and glassy conditions that turned offshore just before before noon and I really could not ask for a better day. Should be waves tomorrow and throughout the weekend to help us all work off that extra piece of pumpkin pie…
