Here is a shot of Devon Tresher riding his Aviso that was up on Surfline the other day in the spotlight thing on NSB (NEw Smyrna Beach). I think I have said it here before but New Smyrna Beach kind of reminds me of the dirty south version of San Clemente, and I mean that in the best possible way. Lots of good surfers come out of that town, and good people as well. Anyway the weather was insane here today in Southern California. High seventies at the beach and fun little combo swell in the water as well…

Aviso in Portugal courtesy of Janga!
Here is a shot I just got today from our man Nuno over in Portugal of another new member of the Aviso army from Lisbon. This is Alexandre Santos with his new Aviso RNF, sick new Janga wetsuit, and what looks like a 5`2 Cole BD3 on the ground (not sure if that last one is his). Welcome to the family Alexandre!
Aviso RNF down south again…
Smaller waves start the week
Today the waves were a lot smaller than the last few days but it was still ridable at most spots. My friend Ray and I got some little waves down the trail around midday before the wind picked up and then I ended up taking a hot yoga class at this cool little studio that just opened up off of Pico here in San Clemente called OceanaFit. Go check it out it you are looking for a little more flexibility in your surfing…
6`2 Rusty Aviso on a good one
Here is a shot of my friend Andy Carr on the 6`2 Rusty Aviso down in Mex. This day was super heavy, so Andy pulled out the 6`2 Rusty Aviso and snagged himself a good one. Hope you all have a great week, take care out there and get yourself in the water while you still can. You just might snag yourself one you can tell the kids about…
David in Mainland on his Cole Aviso DT!
Check out this sequence of my friend David getting a sick shack on his 6`0 Aviso Diamond Tail by Cole! David is such a rad person, I am so stoked to have been introduced to him by our mutual friend Ian that I grew up with. He lives down in Mainland Mexico and has some of the most amazing waves in and around his town. I cant wait to go and visit…
Spring showers bring epic sandbars!
We have been seeing a solid run of storms and swell since last week here in Southern California. As soon as we thought winter was over the rain came back and primed up the sandbars, and the swells started rolling through. It has been all about timing though, so keep your eyes peeled for the changes in wind. It just could be blowing offshore and barreling at that beach break that was onshore closeouts an hour ago…
Another proud new Aviso owner!
Here is another proud new Aviso owner I met up with today. Thats Daniel on the left with his brand new 5`5 Aviso Round Nose Fish and his friend John on the right. They are in town from Brazil and were smart enough to pick up an Aviso on the trip. It was great to see them so stoked, and I know that board will treat him well for many years to come!
