Iceland goes off (Literally)!
Here are a few shots of Ian Battrick over in Iceland with his 5`5 Doc Aviso New Toy and his trusty 5`11 Doc Aviso. Ian was actually suppose to be headed back up that way this week, but with the recent volcanic eruptions he has been delayed a few days. Flights all across Europe were grounded yesterday as huge clouds of ash and smoke drifted east over the continent. Ian was kind enough to send me these pictures yesterday for everyone to check out…
Couple clean ones early
There were some fun waves out there this morning, especially early before the wind changed. More south swell in the water today with a few good NW pulses. Looks like the south should hold for the next few days..

Lots of surf this weekend, but weather an issue…
There was a lot of swell in the water over the weekend but weather was a huge issue. Most places were blown out for a majority of the time, but some saw a few moments of brilliance. Lets hope this week the winds turn around, and the swell keeps coming as forecast. Here are a few shots I took on the along the way. The first two are from up on the cliff in the State Park and the second two I took down on the beach just as the dreaded south wind started to pick up…
