Sea Walk in the Arctic
Batty with his 5`5 New Toy in Iceland (link should work now…)
How is this shot Ian Battrick just sent over of him with his new 5`5 Doc Aviso New Toy over in Iceland last week! After camping out in Indo for a few weeks and scoring what some were calling the wave of the season at Kandui, Ian was back in Iceland with his friend and photographer Tim Nunn working on a coffee table style book called Numb. The book, which is coming out sometime next year will feature Ian and a few of the other boys traveling through Iceland, Scotland, and Norway among other places. Check out Tim`s blog for more…

5`0 at Noosa
Here is a quick shot of Christian riding the 5`o Aviso BD3 over in oz. Hopefully you all had a great weekend, I hear those of us in California should be getting some fun waves most of the week. Also rumor has it a high pressure system is moving into the area by Monday so we could have amazing conditions as well…

Shot on the 5`5 Aviso New Toy
Here is a quick shot of me on the 5`5 Aviso New Toy designed by Doc. This board catches tons of waves, drives well in the barrel and turns great! Definitely one of the top boards in the lineup…

Setting my 5`5 up as a quad before paddling out... This board is amazing as a four fin!

This wave was a few miles north of Cannibal. One of its many names is Playa Muerte, because the place is like two inches deep on the inside. Every waves you dont make you bounce off the bottom for sure...
Aviso shots in the new Revolt
I grabbed a copy of the new Revolt magazine at the tradeshow in San Diego over the weekend and was stoked to see some Aviso shots gracing the pages. Thanks guys, much appreciated!!!

More on the Fireblade…
On Friday I picked up the Fireblade plug from the glasser, took it by Cole`s shop for for final approval, and sent it back to the Aviso factory to begin the tooling process. Here are a few shots I took along the way…

There she is in the left corner of the frame, fresh from the glasser.

Cole double checking the dimensions after giving it his final approval...

Cole signing off on his latest work of art!

The first Cole Fireblade in Aviso Technology will be 5`9 x 19 1/4 x 2 1/8

Yeah Cole!!!

How insane are those Channels!

Amazing!

I love the way the slot-channel bottom flows right into the quad channel out the tail...

I can not wait to get my hands on one of these...
Return to Cannibal Beach
Here are a couple more shots from Cannibal Beach. Everyone ended up staying in the water until we could barely lift our arms so we never took shots of us surfing, I just have a few of these lineup shots we took before paddling out…

Agua de coco... Breakfast of champions

Imagine pulling up to this...

Huge barrels right on the beach, are you ready?

Just like Groundhog Day...

These trees have probably seen more barrels than you and I can even dream of. They might have even watched Cortez roll by...
