I love this Shot!
A work in progress... Keep your eyes peeled for new Cole AVISO models coming soon!!
There were some little waves to be had around town but nothing too special. I had to stop by Lost this afternoon to drop some boards with Steve and Gyr for Biolos. Turns out I was lucky enough to run into the man himself. Here are some shots of Mayhem checking out his new AVISO Slipper, a beautiful addition to his already extensive quiver!
Well the waves are pretty hurting this morning in and around SC. If the high tide bogging it out was not enough to demotivate you then this north wind that just picked up should do the trick. Could be fun later if the winds change but I would not hold my breath…
Here is a sick band that I have been listening to lately. There name is epic and they sound different than a lot of the crap out there right now. Check it out, and let us know what you have been rockin` in the ipod lately…
Here are a few shots that I snapped over the last couple of days. Friday was insane, we surfed lowers with like seven guys out and then scored some little shacks down at the beach breaks in town before dark. This morning we hit the beach breaks again and got some sick waves before the tide dropped out too much. We have had a nice little run with hopefully more to come. Get on it tomorrow after the tide drops a little if you have the time…
Early morning wedge!
My trusty 5`5 AVISO RNF... If you dont have a round nose fish you need to get one now!
Another day, another wedge
There were a few clean ones to be had down at Strands when the wind came up for a bit..
Even tidepools had a few random peeks coming through amongst the tourists...
SC Local Josh Kirk with the 5`2 COLE/AVISO BD3. Josh hoped on the board the last few days and loved it!
Here are a few shots that I snapped off last night when I was hanging out over at Christian Wach`s house. The kid leaves today for a month and a half over in Australia to film and defend his title in the Nose Riding event at the Noosa Festival over on the Sunshine Coast from March 15-22. Christian was the first person on the invitation for this years event and is amped to try to match his 17.5 seconds of tip time from last year. Anyway check out these shots of him going to town on his 10`0, and check back soon for a video of the whole process…
First decide what you want to do then sand down the area so the paint will stick...
After you sand it down you are ready to lay down the base...
After that, be patient and let the first layer dry!
After the first layer of paint dries its time to bust out the Posca pens..
Cwach bringing it all together...
Use your Posca to give it some personality!!
These skulls are fun and super easy to do... Plus there are no rules, you can give each one there own vibe!
If you want you can customize your fins like CWach too:)
Sticking with the skull theme..
CWach`s custom fin template fits perfect! Noosa here we come!!
Check out this shot that Alex at Surfing Europe sent over the other day of Ian Battrick riding his Doc AVISO over in Indo. Ian is the man, from cold water slabs in Ireland to the warm barrrels of Indonesia, he is always holding it down on his AVISO! Check out more of Ian on the new and improved surfingeurope.com…
